Still scary, still flawed (Rating: ) Review : Resident Evil 0 is a title that's as pretty and atmospheric as ever. It's a game filled with scares. And it's also one sorely in need of an evolution in gameplay mechanics. We could forgive some of these issues in the RE remake because it was essentially an update to the classic game. On the other hand, RE0 is an all-new outing. So why does it have all of the old problems? Resident Evil 0 rox! (Rating: 5.00) Review : Resident Evil 0 is one of my favorite video games for the nintendo gamecube. This game has the best graphics of all. There is so much detail in the environments and characters. The fire flickers from the wind and the bottles rock back and forth as the train moves. The environments and characters are smooth and look very realistic. The only complaint is the controls. Why doesn't Capcom perfect them?! Other than that the game is awesome. It's a perfect blend of action with horror. I love survival horror games. Just to let some of you know the point of a survival horror game is to give you suspense by leaving you with little ammo while you fight deadly enemies(though in this game there is much more ammo given than in other RE games). The point of a survival horror is not to give you tons of ammo so you can go out and shoot whatever the heck you feel like. That, my friend, is what Goldeneye 007 is all about. I love how you must conserve your ammo. It makes the game more innovative. Otherwise how friggin easy would it be if you had unlimited amounts of ammo scattered around the joint. It adds more strategy to the game. This game really keeps you thinking as you progress through and encounter new and more difficult obstacles. This game is a great reason to buy a nintendo gamecube. Great graphics and great fun! I'm gonna go play it right now! (Rating: 5.00) Review : Im new to the RE games, but as soon as i popped the cd into my gamecube i got hooked. The graphics are NOTHING like the graphics on other gamecube games, which was one reason why i liked this game so much. The game has a great storyline, lots of puzzles, and theres lots of strategy involved. Its also alot of fun when u beat the game and unlock the secret weapons (like a magnum revolver) which pop a zombies head off everytime. If your looking to start getting into RE games, get this. Ive already preordered resident evil 1, and cant wait to get it. whats next resident evil1? (Rating: 4.00) Review : this is a realy good s/h game if your a fan of resident evil you will like this 4/5 stars |
