Review : I bought this toolbox (...) last October for Christmas, and it was so widely popular that they were not able to get any more back in. This is just the most wonderful toy! It teaches all the tool sounds and instructs kids to be careful when playing or "using their tools." It's great fun to make things on top of the toolbox and all the wonderful things that come with it. There's a T-square, a level, a drill with many different bits, a hammer, many screws and bolts, and even one of those things that you use to get the bolts of a tire off to change them on a car. I've never spent such great money on a toy as this and I just can't say enough good about it. My little guy combines this set with his workbench and he's just in tool heaven daily with this thing. He loves it so very much and it was the first thing he grabbed on Christmas morning and it's been true love ever since. It's extremely durable (it's been used numerous times as a stepstool) and just loads of fun. I just couldn't believe all the tools that came with it and how neat and durable they are. It's very detailed-oriented so I definitely would pay attention to that age recommendation. My guy just loves to grab this thing and go with dad to work with him on whatever project is on the table. It's a great learning tool and especially fun for sons and dads.

Review : My 3 1/2-year-old loves tools of all kinds and is always pretending to build things. On his first day of receiving this gift however, he only played with it for a short time and quickly lost interest. The plastic nails it comes with can be pounded into the lid of the toolbox which he found fun. The plastic screws however, were too small to be screwed into anything in the kit. They just fell into the holes and left nothing for my son to do himself. I also did not realize that the drill it comes with does not actually run. This was also frustrating for him as he kept squeezing the handle and nothing would happen. Although the toolbox itself was of good quality and some of the accessories were of decent quality, I would not recommend spending (...) for this and strongly wish I had not.
