The first thing you notice is that the whole game is in proper 3d. No more frames people, now it's a little like Zelda. Second thing you notice is the fact that there are barmy villagers armed with chainsaws and axes who are intent on killing Leon for whatever reason. Why they want to is still a mystery but it is terrifying. The graphics are great and so are the ways in which the villagers react. Shoot them in the leg and they will stumble where as if you shoot them in the head then... eeeeeeewwww!

There is also the introduction of some monks armed with scythe blades. Whoever these guys are, they have some hold over the villagers and a few of them look a little like zombies... could it be that the Zombies might make a return. Who knows.

Ashley will also be a playable character as she will be needed to solve different puzzles. She has a seperate health bar which if it falls to 0, then she dies and the games over. However, she also seems to be coughing blood a few times. Could she be effected by a virus. Hopefully she won't go all mad on us and try to rip our head off because if she does then Leon would have to kill her and that would be awful. (Plus the president would be a little miffed.)

All signs point towards a successfull game as Resident Evil 4 shapes up. With extra gore, extra visuals and extra fear, Resident Evil 4 looks good. It looks very good...

First Id like to clear things up. I am a HUGE RE fan. I loved the 3rd one the most. I have every RE game and beatin almost all of em' cept' for Code Veronica.
RE remake was brilliant and Zero was off the hook but Now....Resident Evil 4 will be the Best Game Ever...

It's bin awhile since we've had an RE story line after CV...And forget OUTBreak and OutBreak file 2 cause compared to Resident Evil 4 there crap. Now lets get to it

Every thing you wanted Resident evil to be is now in RE4.

The story is when Leon is assighned to find the Presidents missing daughter and he must go to some village in europe were he finds that all the villagers are mad phycos who want him dead...but thats not the whole story...there not acctually zombies and there not humans either...what the hell are they then is what you ask?....I have no clue...But it seems good.

This will also be the longest RE ever...It's bout fifteen hours or longer I think...But thats all I can tell you..

The only problem is that on amazon It says the release date is FEB, 2005...I can't believe this.

I was hoping for the game to come out in Fall but amazon may be wrong but I donno' and if anyone does know can you please post it for me because at E3 they said in the trailer that it would come out in WINTER 2004...

Review : When you look at games you look at not only graphics but gameplay. Well Capcom the producers of the hit survival series Resident Evil are making there next installment in the series. Promised by the head of Capcom themselves to be the best, longest,most horrifying graphical game you will ever play. The Gamecube is a very small system but with great features and lots of unknown power wich is used to the limit with Resident Evil 4. The graphics stated by Nintendo,Sony,Microsoft and Capcom saying they have never seen something so beautiful and realistic and that they even admit the PS2 and Xbox couldn't handle this. When major companies say that you know this game is going to own all. Now besides the graphics what about the story, controls, and features the game has. Well you are Leon S. Kenedy from Resident Evil 2 back to have some more fun with zombies now called villagers. At E3 when we got a chance to play RE4 we learned the T-Virus and Umbrella are gone but they still tie in with RE4's plot someway later on in the game. The new type of zombie called villagers are far more freaky when playing the game and still have traits of zombies like unbelievable strength, unhuman and very sick. Later on in the game they get more slow and diseased looking. Whenever the church bell rings attacking you or not they drop everything and slowly walk towards the church. There are several locations in the game and we got to play two diffrent areas the insane town and the dark castle wich had all new kinda of monsters and villagers Capcom soon will release information on. Theres alot more areas then just the town, and castle but nothing we have seen yet. The controls were a issue in the old Resident Evil games for some people thats why Capcom changed the controls but didn't. What I mean is alot of people liked the old controls so Capcom kept them and redid the camera angles so that it always is behind you so no more pushing forward to go back and back to go forward. Sound is so amazing in this game that you think you were in the village or castle wherever you are it doesn't matter the sound will be right with you. Now for some features. No more aiming just straight, up, or down aim wherever you want with the new aiming system allowing you to shoot the head of the villager every time, the leg or arm. You can hit the A button to jump in and out of windows to get away along with shoving and hitting the villagers attacking you. The reality of this game was truly amazing to everyone at E3 this year when we saw what will happen in actual gameplay. Leon ran into a house while serveral villagers screamed and moaned outside in a foreign language. They started to break the windows, bust open the doors and chuck things into the house. All the sudden a chainsaw started outside and the windows on the second floor of the house you could hear were broken by villagers rushing in. Leon jumped through the window and turned only to be met with the chainsaw man who smashed the chainsaw into Leons chest and just starred at Leons eyes from about 1 inch away. The gore is so high that it beats any other game because the blood from the chainsaw hitting Leon started flying everywhere and drenched Leon along with the crazed villager. I will leave everything else upto you to find out but for now pre- order Resident Evil 4 and start being infected.

Review : Looks like a good game, too bad it's on a console no one owns. I won't keep that purple box around my house just cause of Resident Evil 4. This game should be on PS2 or XBOX, where all the other good games are. This goes back to when Capcom decided to turn the franchise GameCube exclusive. It was a selfish move by both Nintendo and Capcom and in the end it was the gamers and the game sales that paid the price.

Review : This fall everyone across the world will be haunted by the new survival horror game from Capcom Resident Evil 4. Capcom confirmed and made it clear at E3 no other system can even come close to competeing with Resident Evil 4 graphics and capabilitys. It earned E3 2004 game of the year and is already guaranteed to earn game of the year for 2004. Everything from graphics, sound, controls, camera angles and whatever else you want to think of has been changed somehow in Resident Evil 4. Controls are a major area Capcom worked on including graphics which have been said to look and work perfect. There are several areas to explore Capcom says and promises that it will be the longest and best Resident Evil game ever. You can bet that this is easily going to be the best game ever. Pre order it if already it's racking up golds that tells you something right there.
