wonderful everyday flatware (Rating: 4.00) Review : overall this flatware lives up to the standards of oneida but the knives do stain. The stains do come out with hand washing. Good Value (Rating: 3.00) Review : This flatware is a good value. Except for the knife, the handles are quite thin, but at this price, it's unrealistic to expect the heft and balance of expensive flatware. The finish has been very durable and this design is classic and simple without being boring. A great starter set for a new homeowner! Flimsy (Rating: 2.00) Review : I've owned this flatware for four years and have not been happy with the quality. All but the knives are thin guage metal. In fact, I've had to tell my children not to use the spoons for hard ice cream cups because they were bending. The surface has held up OK, with the exception of some minor marks from dishwasher detergents. I expected a better product from Oneida. Forgot About It But Glad I Got It (Rating: 5.00) Review : I forgot that I had put them on my wedding registry! So when I received a set of these as a wedding gift, I was pleasantly surprised. They have held up great throughout the years and I still absolutely love the simple, but elegant pattern to them. The butter knives are a good weight making them comfortable to use, I just wish they (the knives) didn't take up so much room in the silverware tray/drawer. |
