The Simpsons and Monopoly: Two Good Things (Rating: 0.00)
Review : The Simpsons Monopoly is a great board game for the whole family. The characters you get are Homer, Bart in a car, Santa's Little Helper, Kang or Kodos(I can't tell them apart), the statue at Springfield, and a 3-eyed fish. Where is the fish from? You can own a lot of Simpsons locations such as Krustylu Studios, Burns Manor or the Kwik-E-Mart. They do leave out other major places in Springfield such as Lard Lad Donuts or Krusty Burger. Oh well. The rules are basically the same as regular Monopoly, except they call each house a Monorail Stop. Included inside the game is the offer to get 4 more characters, if you feel you don't have enough already. The guys(and girls) you get are Mr. Burns, Otto, Marge with Maggie and Lisa. But, WHY NOT KRUSTY?!?!?!? Krusty is more important than some 3-eyed fish in maybe one episode or Otto. Grandpa would have been cool, but it doesn't matter. The game is long, it's not one of those games you feel like you can win at in 10 minutes.Educationally, the game does great, too. You have to give people an amount of money, so you're counting. But, education kind of lacks against durability and fun, plus to me education does not matter in a board game. Games aren't supposed to educate you. They are all about if they are fun and that the board doesn't fall apart within 15 minutes. If you look at the board closely, you can see lots of serious happenings such as a car crash or a robbery. The board is very detailed, you must have a little of math skills(when I was playing against my brother, he gave me an extra 10 bucks, but I didn't tell him) and it's fun. The board doesn't break, the characters don't shatter, what else could you ask for? Sure, the location cards and money do rip, but that's life. The game isn't too big, so you can carry it around on road trips or something. You shouldn't play it in the car, or a surface that shakes a lot, because even a roll of the dice can move the houses(monorail stops) onto some other location. The game might be hard for young people, maybe 5 years or under, but their mom or dad can always count out the money for them. So, all in all, this is a great game based on a great TV show. I'd recommend it to anyone who wants to have a great time.
It's okay, but ... (Rating: 0.00)
Review : This game is okay, but you need to have watched an adult cartoon television show called The Simpsons from America to understand the nuances of this game. Other people tried to explain, but their enthusiasm was not infectious, sorry.
Great Monopoly Game! (Rating: 0.00)
Review : This is the best Monopoly game I've encountered. The game design is awesome! There are also custom property cards, chance cards, and community chest cards. My brother loves this Monopoly game the best. And best of all, you can collect 4 more limited edition tokens as well! This is a great game and you should buy it!
The best game out (Rating: 5.00)
Review : I aint kidding when I say this is the brightest, most colorful, most well designed Monopoly game out today. I have collected a few over the years but this one really puts a smile on your face. The board has a map of Springfield in the centre, if you look closer you can spot each character walking about the town. The Chance and Community Chest cards have Homer, Bart etc in place of the Monopoly man, the properties go from the tire yard and Cletus' shack (the cheapest) to the Country Club and Burns manor (the dearest) The pewter peices are very finely detailed, and there's an offer to buy four more. Also the property cards have Simpsons artwork on both sides. If your going to buy a Monopoly game, it really has to be this one.
There is a God (Rating: 5.00)
Review : I collect Monopoly board games. This is by far the most beautiful Monopoly game ever. If you are a Simpson fan that's a bonus. The board features almost every place in Springfield from the Kwik-E-Mart to Mr. Burns Manor. You could spend hours looking at every little and totally hilarious details. The game tokens are very nice plus you have the option to purchase other limited edition game tokens which are very cool by the way. The property deeds are a work of art. And on plus side if you have children and want to interest them in math and strategy while having fun you can not go wrong with this one. One more thing; if you do deside to purchase this game and plan on using it you better buy more than one or you will find yourself making your friends wash their hands before they could even think of touching it. Do yourself a favor and buy this game. Have fun.
