The decade baseball card collecting was ruined (Rating: 0.00)
Review : Yes I collected cards back in the eighties, just as it was becoming a "big" thing. Beckett's was still a funky little price guide, Upper Deck wasn't created yet, etc. I bought cards from the late seventies and early eighties before I got out of collecting. I noticed that the prices were getting stupid and the card manufactors were making way too many cards. People had fifty or a hundred or several hundred rookie cards of players they thought might be tomorrows allstars. Buying packs from the 90's just doesn't make any sense, they were way over produced and hardly represent true "collecting".I can't recommend buying this package to anyone. If you really want to collect baseball cards, you almost have to get cards that predate these to be getting anything of value.
