Don't Judge if your a PS2 OWNER! (Rating: 5.00)
Review : Listen, a lot of people here giving it a 0/5 stars all own PS2s, and probably have never played on an Xbox. Listen, an Xbox will cost about the same as a PS2, with the accessories. You see, the PS2 only has 2 controller ports, so they spend money buying a hookup for four. Xbox has that. On the other hand, Xbox can't play DvDs without the little kit. In the end they both break even. Both systems have the same ammount of buttons (Trust me, I own both) and they both get great games. Some great games for Xbox are Halo, Mech Assault, Riddick. Some great PS2 games are Red Faction (older classic, like Halo...), Jak and Dex, and some others. So what makes an Xbox better? Well, Xbox's may not get as many unique games (Which is funny, because a lot of the PS2's unique games SUCK!), but it has a way better graphic engine and a nice onboard memory (NO NEED FOR MEMORY CARDS!!LESS MONEY!). Almost forgot, Online has some nice perks too. Now, don't listen to idiots who have never played BOTH, but someone who has both. If you want to spend less money, I would go with this, because there are alot of games that come out for both, but they usually look better on this! Don't count Nintendo out, they have some...odd...perks
Microsoft does games. (Rating: 4.00)
Review : The landscape is changing in the gaming market. No more are Sega and Nintendo the uncontested big boys of the industry. After knocking out NEC, Atari, and SNK, both Sega and Nintendo thought nobody would come along to challenge anymore. But then came Sony with the Playstation platform, and now another solid heavyweight has tipped the scales, and heavy they are...Microsoft. Anybody that played Halo, even if they didn't exactly fall in love with the game, experienced the raw power of what XBOX was capable of. No longer are LAN parties, and first person shooters just a PC specialty. The XBOX is a low-cost, high powered gaming PC, in a proprietary case. Housing an Intel Pentium 3 processor, Invidia Graphics, a decent hard drive, and a built-in RJ-45 ethernet port. The system comes with the Microsoft Controller S, a refined, and overall better design than the original Microsoft Controller. You get four controller ports, like on the Nintendo GameCube. DVD is an option, plus you can download your CD's to the internal hard drive. Some games alow for personlized soundtracks/playlists, like Dead or Alive Extreme Beach Volleyball, and even Counter Strike. The system is physically large, and heavy. Of the three major systems, it's the bulkiest. But don't let the large design detur you from taking a look at this system, it's what's inside that really counts, and this system delivers the goods.
Simply the best (Rating: 5.00)
Review : Xbox is, without a doubt, not only the best console current available, but the best console ever created. I also own the GameCube and PlayStation 2, but none of these comes close to Xbox. Microsoft developed the Xbox with gamers in mind, and let's see why. Xbox graphics and sound are simply amazing, even PlayStation 2 fans agree with that; almost all games feature progressive scan and in game dolby digital. The hard drive is a very cool feature; i don't have to buy memory cards and can edit my prefered soundtracks in games like Project Gotham Racing 2 and Dead or Alive Xtreme Beach Volleyball, and download maps and patches for online games. The controller cords are very long, so i don't have to buy extension cables. Talking about the controllers, i can't understand why some people complain about them; honestly, i prefer the Xbox controller over the Playstation 2 Dual Shock 2, as it gets more confortable in my hands. Xbox has four controller ports, no multitaps needed. The Xbox online gaming service (Xbox Live) is, like the system, the best available, with scoreboards and friends list. Ok, and what about the games? Xbox has more than 400 games available, with much more coming (nothing bad for a 2,5 year old system). A lot of good PlayStation 2 games was also released on Xbox in enhanced versions ... i get the Xbox version, because it's almost always the best. When a game is developed exclusively for the Xbox the differences are more clear. If you really like videogames, go get one.

When a game is released on all 3 consoles, i get the Xbox version, because is always the best (if you don't belive me, go check Gamespot, the "best" icon is 99,9% on Xbox Games; ok, you don't like Gamespot, go check IGN head-to-head feature). When a game is developed exclusively for the Xbox the differences are more clear. Go play Halo, Ninja Gaiden, MechAssalt, Star Wars KOTOR, Otogi Myth of Demons, Dead or Alive 3, Panzer Dragoon Horta, Project Gotham Racing 2, Moto GP 2, Top Spin, Crimson Skies, Jet Set Radio Future and you'll know what i'm talking about. Xbox future looks exciting with games like Halo 2, Fable, Dead or Alive Online, Dead or Alive Code Cronus, Otogi 2, Shenmue III, Jade Empire, Sudeki, Conker Live and Uncut, Perfect Dark Zero, Half-Life 2, Doom 3, Painkiller, Far Cry, etc. If you really like videogames, go get one.
PS2 better all the way. (Rating: 0.00)
Review : Okay people, listen up.Xbox is a good system and all,and has a built in memory saver(whataever its called)think of the size and memory. The things like a MONSTER.It takes up alot of room. And the memory on it is not portable ! So that does not allow you to take it to your friends house.
A Quality System (Rating: 4.00)
Review : This is a quality system. I have all 3 next-gen consoles and I find them to be very equal. They all have their pros and cons. Here are the pros and cons for the xbox followed by a list of quality titles with brief descriptions: PROS: -Best Graphics out of all 3 consoles -Its streamlined online interface known as Xbox Live, which makes it easy to communicate with friends, arrange games, and download new content. -Fun multiplayer action -If a game comes out for all 3 consoles, it's graphics will probably be best on this system -4 controller ports -Can hook up to 3 other xboxs, which I have done, for a fun multiplayer showdown. -DVD playability CONS: -Xbox Live costs money -Very big and heavy -Occasional game freezings and disc read errors -The original controller is very large Games you should buy for xbox: Halo - THE killer app for xbox. Anyone who knows anything about video games knows this is a great game. It recently became ported to PC but it was sloppy and it ran slower. Very fun multiplayer. Splinter Cell (available on other consoles as well) - A great and fun stealth action game. Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow (available on other consoles): The sequel to Splinter Cell. This game revolutionized multiplayer gaming with it's take on multiplayer stealth gaming. Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic (Also on PC): A very fun Star Wars roleplaying game. The story is very well written and the voice acting is top notch. Project Gotham Racing 2: I actually haven't gotten to play this yet, but some call it the definitive racing game. It is supposed to be very fun online. Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time (All other consoles): A very fun action game based on the Prince of Persia franchise where you can turn back time. Although not a platform game it contains many platform elements. Ninja Gaiden: I have not played this game either but my friend said it was "amazing". This is another fun ninja-based action game based on the NES classic. Panzer Dragoon Orta: A sequel to the Saturn Panzer Dragoon franchise where you ride around on a Dragon. Games to look forward too: Halo 2: This game is recieving its fair share of hype and i can see why. The 2003 E3 demo left many awestruck, and I have no doubt that this will be a groundbreaking game. The story takes place in the future when the Covenant Armada (an alien race) invades Earth. Fable: An RPG brought to you by the gaming guru Peter Molyneux (Black & White, Dungeon Keeper) where you take on the role of some guy in a fantasy world where your character will age and can become either good or evil. Looking good. Advent Rising: Following a very complex story, GlyphX games puts you in the role of Gideon where you fight off an alien race secretely hell bent on world domination. It is shaping up very nicely and I'm sure it will be a hit. If you had to choose between one of the 3 systems to buy, I'd say they're all pretty equal. I would base your decision on which pros and cons you care more about.
PS2 Better... (Rating: 0.00)
Review : People if u are thinking about getting XBOX, reconsider. I have PS2 and XBOX. Yeah maybe XBOX has more features but PS2 is the system to get. PS2 has more games u can't get on XBOX. plus your XBOX will tire it self out and die within 1 year. U can have PS2 as long has u want as long as u take care of it. SO ALWAYS GET PS2.
