Our L'il Tyke loves this! (Rating: 5.00)
Review : My granddaughter is turning two this week and we bought her this kitchen after doing a lot of research on price, durability and fun. At this age, it's hard to find toys that will keep their attention for longer than 5 minutes. She LOVES this! From looking thru the window, washing her hands in the pretend sink, opening and closing the doors, and her favorite is the microwave. She LOVES buttons! She doesn't care much for some of the sounds, for example, she puts her hands over her ears and walks away when the "water" noise comes on. She can't identify the food yet so the "interaction" about cooking the chicken or the macaroni and cheese and the instruction about not forgetting to clean up, goes right over her head. Perhaps as she gets older she'll appreciate it. When I'm trying to focus her attention AWAY from something, like the TV, I just say: Do you want to go wash your hands? Or Do you want to press the buttons? and she goes running for her kitchen. Needless to say, I highly recommend this toy!

Not as fun as I had hoped ... (Rating: 3.00)
Review : We got this for my daughter last Xmas -- she had just turned 2 at the time. I had read all the reviews and decided on this one due to all of the positive comments. I've been disappointed in how little my daughter plays with this. Every time we go somewhere where there is a play kitchen (i.e., library, playgroups, toy stores), my daughter can't get enough of play kitchens. I thought this would be the perfect toy for her. She does really like the window feature, as do her friends. She loves to play with the food that came with it (good kid staples, like mac n cheese, hot dog, chicken, spaghetti, corn on the cob), but she rarely "cooks" the food. The microwave door came warped -- I've heard that Little Tykes will replace this, but I haven't bothered to do that yet. The microwave panel with the buttons also screwed into our set crookedly (holes are already lined up in the plastic), so I don't know that a new microwave door would close correctly either. One of my biggest complaints is that the handles on the dishwasher and oven do not click -- they just spin freely. What fun is that for a kid? Overall, it's been an okay toy -- at least it's held up well for the year we've owned it.

Wonderful! (Rating: 5.00)
Review : I bought this for my son when he was 15 months old, and he loved it right away. It holds his attention for hours...amazing! The three doors on the bottom open and close w/o worry for pinched fingers, which satisfies his need to open and close things all day long. All of his friends love it too! A suggestion though, this exact item is $79.98 at Toys R Us.

The best kitchen there is !!!!! (Rating: 5.00)
Review : We bought this for our daughter (then 15 months) at christmas time. It has been the first thing she goes to every morning since. It is so realistic and fun, she loves pretending to cook and do dishes. We have bought some more play food since christmas and the cupboards have plenty of room to store it all! I think this is one of the best big ticket items you could buy....and will grow with your child for years to come! HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Just Like Mommy's Kitchen (Rating: 5.00)
Review : My 2-year-old daughter got this kitchen for Christmas and loved it! I loved the fact it didn't have many little pieces like the other play kitchens had. The kitchen comes with pretend food, however there are no pots, pans, or utensils. Littles Tikes makes a set for this kitchen with pots and pans-I would recommend buying it. And Little Tikes = DURABLE. The stove, faucet, microwave all make true to life noises. And my daughter loves to poke her head through the window. My husband and I put it together ourselves. It took us about an hour, not that difficult. My daughter loved it because it was so much like Mommy's kitchen. I have no complaints whatsoever. This toy was well worth the money we spent ($100 at Toys R Us around Christmas). My daughter had peeled off some of the stickers (she does that to all her toys) and Little Tikes sent me replacement ones for FREE! This is a MUST BUY!
