Great value (Rating: 0.00)
Review : I know something about bicycles, and I was looking for a value-price 24" for my daughter. For $..., it has very good components (cotterless crank, quick release cantalever brakes, quick release seat post, suspension forks, index handle grip shifters). Plus it has everything my daughter likes (cool purple paint job, water bottle/cage, MTN bike tires). I did the assembly ... very well packaged. Took less than an hour, and I'm sure I did a better job than TRU would have. I'm sure she'll grow into a 26" bike in a few years ... couldn't bear to spend more than $... for an interim bike. This was a good choice.
Perfection (Rating: 0.00)
Review : As a woman who never hit 5' tall, it's kind of embarrassing to have to wear an 8-year-old's helmet and ride a 20 inch bike! This bike is a full 24" wheel, but has a low frame, so I can fit on it!!!!! It's also a much more "womanly" bike than those I have been looking at in the past, being purple and blue with no pink or stars or hearts, etc. I got it yesterday assembled at my local Toys R US and rode it two miles last night. It shifts great, breaks great, is in general all around perfect for me. I am finally willing to take the time to really learn how to ride a bike, as I am no longer ashamed to be seen on one. I HIGHLY recommend it for anyone who can't quite fit a standard 24", or for anyone else, for that matter!
