For fun, Monopoly rates 5 stars because you can play it and play it and never get tired of it. It's also a great game no matter how many people play it. Ever since I've been playing it, I have never gotten tired of it, which is a rare thing since most board games eventually get boring.

For educational value, Monopoly also rates 5 stars. There aren't really a lot of games out there that teach you how to manage money the way this game does. You can own a heap of properties and then go bankrupt as quickly as anything, showing you how fast you can lose money. Monoploy also teaches you to spend your money carefully and wisely.

And finally for durability, Monopoly gets 5 stars once again. We have an edition that is about 17 or 18 years old and it's still going and is in pretty good condition considering it's age.

In short, Monopoly is one of my all time favourite games and is one of the best ever made.

Only with my brother! (Rating: 0.00)
Review : I'll only play this is my brother offers to play, because my sisters, cousins and friends won't sit through it (unless Miguel plays)! It's so long and drawn out that you quickly get bored. My brother livens it up sometimes.

Anyway,I've only finished this game twice. Once was in 1998 and me and my brother stayed up until five AM playing it--so we were essentially playing it around four hours.

If it's a rainy day with nothing to do and you have older children, it's okay. But otherwise, it's really to long to even bother with.

Most Famous Game Ever (Rating: 5.00)
Review : Plain and simple, Monopoly is the most famous game of all-time. And if there is a greater game out there, I'd love to see it. Just think about it --- Boardwalk, Get Out of Jail Free, Community Chest, the kooky game pieces --- they are all classic Americana. Relatively easy to play, Monopoly is also educational. Where else can kids -- or adults for that matter-- learn about money management, real estate and the ups and downs of life in such a fun filled environment? Fun, afterall, is what games are all about and Monopoly has been thrilling players the world over for 70 plus years. In fact, I can't think of a better way to spend a cold, rainy day than to spend it with a couple friends, a few snacks and a long game of Monopoly! Great for families, although perhaps a bit difficult for children under 10.
