Good but then again bad (Rating: 4.00) Review : it is a great thing to use,but the bad thing is I had it for about a month and the disk snapped in half on me so it is a good thing to buy if your really carful I plan on buying it againg! Other than that, it is really fun to get to play with all of the things we hadn't unlocked before!!! The BEST accessory of all time (Rating: 5.00) Review : I haven't bought it yet, but i heard about it yesterday about F-Zero GX. It says you can buy action replay. If you buy action replay for F-Zero GX, You can unlock everything by entering as many codes as you want, Including Custom Parts and the Japanese exclusive Parts. I planned on buying it in July. It's the best accessory i'm going to get. I have to wait for july. Have fun. Pretty good product (Rating: 4.00) Review : I haven't had this for very long, but so far it has worked pretty good. It comes with a memory card which is put into slot B on the gamecube, and a disc. To use it, you turn on the gamecube with the memory card and the disc in it. It comes up with a menu, one option being to load codes for the game you want to play. We've tried it with Burnout and Driven and worked fine. I tried to use it with Super Mario Sunshine to access all levels and worlds - the 1st time the game locked up and the 2nd time I still couldn't access unopened areas. Oh well. To update codes, we have to input them manually. Maybe with the optional modem for gamecube, you'll be able to download the codes at some point ... A must have accessory (Rating: 4.00) Review : I originally bought one of these for my PS2 and love it. So I got one for my GC too. While the GC version is great and seems to work well it does have a couple of annoying drawbacks. 1) No online update like the PS2 version has and 2) the entering of codes manually is tedious because the sensitivity of the curser movement makes the curser fly away on the virtual keyboard. But there is a saving grace for this product and updates. They've just announced an Action Replay Max Drive for the GC. So use of the Max Drive in conjunction will make this product as good as the PS2 version as far as keeping new codes updated. I'd highly recommend buying this if you have games you'd like to see all unlockables in them or are having problems with completing. It is a good product. I gave it 4 out of 5 stars mainly because it doesn't have online updating built into it. |
