A whole lot of fun...... but (Rating: 0.00) Review : This is an amazing toy with real staying power. My five year old son has played with this every single day since receiving the set as a birthday present a couple weeks ago. His two year old sister loves to play as well. The 42 piece set WILL seem like too little after a couple hours of play, so buying another (and another) will probably be a good idea. The ONE majorly annoying thing about this toy is that the parts are VERY small, and when you have little kids in the house you end up having to track them down all over the house. Right now the set is missing 4 bars and 7 balls, and I have NOOOO idea where they are. Setting up a rule where the game is played with in ONE room, and put away before moving on will save everyone headaches. Obviously, this toy is really not appropriate for homes with little ones as the metal balls are just about perfect for putting in the mouth and swallowing, and are hard to keep track of. My 2.5 year old understands that they do not belong in the mouth, but even so this toy needs constant supervision if you have a mix of ages in the house. Kids play time (Rating: 0.00) Review : I have spent endless hours with my daughter (5 years old) in the construction of various shapes - and buildings. Many more hours of fun to look forward - I highly recomend this toy. excellent gift (Rating: 0.00) Review : This toy surprised us for its lasting durability and the sustained interest of my grandson, age 6 1/2. Ignoring a room full of toys and games, he played with the pieces almost daily and carried them back and forth to school, making interesting shapes and stories. great office toy (Rating: 0.00) Review : I got this for a friend in my 10-person grad student office. His desk has become the most popular in the building, with several people coming by throughout the day to make new structures and see what these magnets can do. We had no idea we could create so many hanging, spinning, bizarre structures -- in weeks we haven't gotten tired of it. Great fun! Too bad we can't get work done now. :-) Not quite as fun as you'd expect! (Rating: 0.00) Review : This toy would be wonderful for kids, if only the manufacturer would include enough pieces! There are very few pieces included with this toy and it's almost impossible to make anything unless you buy 3 or 4 boxes of this toy. My son got bored with this toy within 15 minutes. If this toy came with 3 or 4 times as many pieces, then maybe kids could enjoy it. Don't be fooled by the size of the box -- it's full of plastic filler -- not game pieces. Although the quality of the pieces is excellent, I was very disappointed with this toy, in general. |
