I gave it a 4 in fun because sometimes it does get a bit boring, especially at the beginning. Sometimes we go through almost the entire deck until we finally manage to get a 1 or a 2--Maybe the result of bad shuffling? Hehe.

A five in education value because it teaches kids strategy and good sportmanship rules. Despite what some review said, this does have some stratedy--should you split the seven between 2 components, or just use one? Which other opponet should you bump? Would going backwards help you? Also, if you have young kids, you have to teach them not to get frusterated when they are bumped.

Sorry! Is relatively durable. My friend's version tore because of the trifold design, but mine apparently is very durable. Me, my two sisters and 3 cousins aren't exactly very good with somet things, so considering all this, it's holding up very nicely, hehe.

I'd recommend this for young kids over mindless "Candyland" or the ever-lasting "Monopoly".

Review : I really enjoy this game when playing with young kids, however, that's about the extend of it. Too much of the game depends on raw luck and not enough of it depends upon skill or strategy.

It's a fun party game, though, and it's one you can talk and yell through and not have to think too hard about.

I do recommend it for family fun, it's a decent game.

Review : All I remember about this game is getting into fights with my brother when one of us would taunt they other with "sorry" (...)when we sent a piece back to the home square. This game taught revenge and frustration. you work so hard to try to get out of the starter box, only to be sent back in by a smart-aleck younger sibling. I hated this game, and would not inflict this kind of trauma on my young 'uns.

Review : I played Sorry as a kid & now I'm playing it with mine. The game can change dramatically with the draw of 1 card so sometimes it's hard for my 6 year old to handle it. We did change some of the rules to make a little easier on her at first. For instance: you do not have to get to home on exact count; we don't split the 7's & don't switch places on the 11 (I think it's the 11). This made it less confusing for a little one who can't read the instructions on each card but we added rules as we went along to make it more challenging. I KNOW WE'LL BE PLAYING THIS AS A FAMILY & my kids will play it with themselves & their friends FOR YEARS TO COME!!

Review : Our son just turned six, and we bought Sorry for him about six months ago. There are some board games for tots that we have to force ourselves to play with him, but not Sorry. Up to four can play, and basic counting skills can be sharpened as well as decision-making skills--our son is picking up on the actual strategy one can use within the game to move all his/her men around the board from Start to Home. The four primary colors (yellow, red, blue and green) make it easy for him to keep up/stay focused, and the playing cards are durable and easy to follow. The board is durable, too--my son hasn't been able to tear it up yet! Strongly recommended for any family who enjoys everyone taking part in a good board game, and an effective teaching tool, too.
