High hopes dashed (Rating: 2.00)
Review : I had been searching for a quality work glove with "feel" for years, thought I found it in these gloves. I was unfortunately let down. Great gloves, great "feel", wore out in less than a month.

Good Definitly could be better (Rating: 3.00)
Review : Gloves were great but could not deal with real work.tThe stitching failed quickly approx.after 4 work days. Then after washing them the didn't last to long.If they improve the strength of the glove it would be a good pair of gloves.

Ironclad? Doubt it. (Rating: 1.00)
Review : I used these gloves for about 2 weeks, delivering US mail, not framing houses. The thread on the middle finger of the right glove failed and the glove finger came apart.

Save your money. Go to Home Depot and purchase a cheaper pair of Stanley gloves. They don't fall apart so easily.

Excellent (Rating: 5.00)
Review : I am a serious weekend DIY. I have tried all the different brands of gloves and found them each lacking. Stanley lasted one weekend of abuse while putting up a patio cover. I have been using the Ironclad for 6 months and they show no signs of wear or stitch problems. I highly recommend this product.

Could be better... (Rating: 3.00)
Review : I don't work profesionaly, just on weekends with habitat for Humanity, and they are are good for that. I havn't had the durability problems that others have mentioned (but I havn't had them that long). The only other problem I noticed was when it was cold the golves were slippery, particularly holding a wooden hammer handle.

But I really like the idea of these gloves, the short fingers make it easy to pick up nails.

Saves you from cuts and shards (Rating: 4.00)
Review : I bought these gloves because I had a large metal framing project going on. These gloves saved my hands from the usual cuts associated from working with metal studs and track. They were especially helpful because you could grab even the smallest screw out of your pouch without having to stop and remove the gloves. There was some fraying of the seams, but nothing that harmed the integrity of the glove. These gloves are probably not for large demo projects, but nothing short of heavy leather is. I would definitely buy another pair when these wear out.
