Review : This is really excellent football. The graphics are a huge improvement, and the gameplay is fast and exciting. I really like the running control, as that is precise and effective. Gameday 98 is a great buy if you are into NFL football or just want a visual showpiece for the Playstation.

Review : This is the first of the GameDay series that I have bought and I was very impressed. The gameplay of it is fun and addicting. The intangibles of the game are also very good. It is not perfect though which is why I only gave it four stars. The graphics of the game are alright but the players are somewhat square and blocked out. There is also no announcer. Some phases of the game are very easy and others are very hard. An example of this is the HB sweep. Against most defenses it worked very well and the defense could not defend it. On the other hand, the passing was harder. The only bad thing about the player selection is that it is now outdated. Overall, this is a very good game that is a great buy for a great price.
