The HMDH5U brings the world of Digital television home to rest. This VCR uses the latest connections to provide you with the capability to Record high definition Video content (1080i, 720p), standard digital broadcasts, as well as Analog programming. HDMI (High Definition Multimedia Interface) and Component connections let you connect the HMDH5U to your HDTV or high Resolution digital projector system. Of course, you can still enjoy your collection of VHS tapes, but you can also utilize the more advanced D-Theater format.
