Good for Milkshakes (Rating: ) Review : do not buy (Rating: 1.00) Review : I bought this a while ago thinking it would be perfect for shakes, boy was i wrong. Its cute but thats about all its good for. I agree with the others stick with your blender. Great! Convenient. easy to clean and easy to use. I really enjoyed this alot. Good think shakes. I cant believe these people didnt like it. Buy it. much more easier than blender. stick with a blender (Rating: 1.00) Review : I got this mixer for christmas and was so excited. We make milkshakes several times a week and I thought the mixer would be great. It sucked. Like every other review says, it makes a hole in the middle of the ice cream and then the cup just spins. I probably only used it a dozen times and then went back to the blender. Then i decided to give it another chance, and the motor started sounding like it was shifting gears. The low gear sounded like weed whacker. If i knew where the box was, I would send it back to the company. Not worth the money or effort (Rating: 2.00) Review : Why bother paying money for something that only stirs drinks (spoons work!) or blends cocktails and milkshakes (that's what blenders are for!). I received this as a gift, and at first thought it was the neatest thing... a retro milkshake maker. But it doesn't have much power, you have to make sure the cup is securely on or a huge mess will splatter everywhere, and if your ingredients are hard (like ice or ice cream) you'll be waiting forever for the drink to be made. Stick with a regular blender for milkshakes and drinks, and save some money and counter space. Classic Memories (Rating: 5.00) Review : We purchased a Chrome Hamilton Beach 730C Classic DrinkMaster Drink Mixer and have enjoyed the return to bobby soxs, poodle skirts and two straws. The professional-style, stainless-steel cup feels great when the cold ice creams turns your hand cool and you anticipate your refreshing drink. Clean up of the DrinkMaster is a breeze. The only down fall is that the DrinkMaster looks chrome but is plastic so the memories have to replace the feel and weight of the machine. Yet the mind is easily fooled as friends see the machine on the counter and want a cold chocolate shake. They are never disappointed on the great performance and the wondrful drinks that follow. Classic Drinkmaster (Rating: 5.00) Review : I bought this drink mixer because I love to make milk shakes and other kinds of frozen drinks. I did read the reviews first and noticed that there were a lot of negative reviews. I decided to try the mixer anyway, and decided that if it couldn't handle ice cream and the such that I would simply use it for powdered drinks. I received it in the mail yesterday and make a chocolate shake today. I was really shocked by the amount of power that this machine had. I filled the cup about two thirds full and started the machine. At first, I thought that I was on the high setting because of the amount of power. So I tried the next setting. This one actually caused the cup to overflow because of the power. I do not know if they replaced the motor or what Hamilton Beach did, but the machine definately exceeds my expectations. I would highly recommend it! |
